Feedback Synopsis
1. This is cool but wait, I want to plan from my office for later. Geo-locate won't work because I'm not there now. How do I get back? 2. HMM. Good point, I might want to view a full schedule once I realize I have to swipe individually through the red cards if I want to see arrivals for way later in the day. But how would that work? Some of the stops have a bus and a subway — those schedules would be different, right? 3. You know, I love this geo-locate thing. It'd be so fast and easy for me. But, it wouldn't work so well for people that don't really understand how to read maps. You also kind of have to know where the transportation end point is. The map doesn't really show that. 4. I love the clock countdown. It feels like you can trust it — like it's really accurate. One question though. How do I see if I'm going northbound or southbound? |
Adjustments Made?
1. Addition of persistent header to accommodate back button and my account icon. 2. Addition of "full schedule" interface exploration showing accommodation of multiple modes of transport in scheduling view. 3. No design adjustment. This is a weakness of this approach. 4. Addition of Northbound/Southbound toggle. |

Feedback Synopsis
1. I love the way this looks but I'm not sure the routes really feel clickable to me. 2. What if I want to see more than you're showing. Like, if my stops are really far apart or if I want to see a larger section of the neighborhood? 3. You should give me a way to cycle through all the routes once I'm looking at that screen. Then I don't have to go in and out in case I change my mind. 4. The clock is a great idea. It's kind of fun since it's ticking down. Maybe people will care less when a train is late if they kind of don't know it's late? |
DESIGN IMPLICATION
Adjustments Made?
1. Feedback noted as UI provision that needs to be accounted for in final design. 2. Addition of pinch to zoom functionality within interface. 3. Next/Prev functionality added to route view. 4. Feedback noted as design consideration for final prototype. Should there be a note for scheduled arrival versus actual arrival? Or is it better for customer service that people not compare what is actually happening to what was supposed to happen? |
